1. the editorial team from L'Équipe picks and writes cool sports-related stories to be featured the next day
2. In the morning, we (the designers team) make up the visual story-telling & the story-boards
3. the motion designers animate the stories in the afternoon (much better than this)
I HAD NEVER SNAPCHATTED BEFORE
Since 2016, the sports media L’Équipe trusts parisian agency Upian with the creative execution of their Snapchat ‘discover’ daily edition. I was part of the first design team from the project birth.
It’s a production of about ten sports news-related animated snaps, every day. This ‘just-in-time’ work gets to cover the international sports news, and targets a young audience through new uses (then) brought by Snapchat. The production team, led by Thomas Deyries & Alexandre Brachet, is made up of graphic designers, motion designers and project managers. I was able to work remotely from Bogotá, then Buenos Aires, in constant comunication with Upian agency. A great teamwork!
