The ‘bar rouge’ screen designs
This was my first dive into the cocktail world, the first project of a long collaboration with Liquid Liquid agency: Cocktails Spirits 2018. The 11th edition was a milestone: the first to take place in the iconic Palais de Tokyo location. I joined the CS team about 4 months before the event, so it was pretty intense. I was suddenly in charge of every visual aspect: online communication, print production, website design, event signage...
I quickly got into the existing identity and tried to stick to it, and I eventually brought some new elements. I first started to design the 2018 main visuals and poster, representing the 500 faces of the bartending parisian scene – images shot by excellent photographer and collaborator Philippe Levy. Then we redesigned the website, started working on the signage, the event branding, and the merch. We also designed a dynamic animation to be screened on a Palais de Tokyo wall. It was developed by Tristan Nicoleau and showed the In Bartenders We Trust campaign, mixed with some photos shot in real-time during the two-days event.
