The 2020 totes
For the second time, I was lucky to craft the new Biches Festival poster and identity. Obviously, the 2020 edition did not see the light of the day –the cultural agenda was clouded by Covid-19 and had to be cancelled. I had the chance to create the identity, the lineup had –sadly– just been wrapped up before the beginning of the quarantine.
Once again I came up with a friendly-but-punky style, using as much as possible freehand typography to give this nice crafty feeling that is now part of the identity of the Normandy-based festival. I think we reached a more mature aesthetics for this fifth edition, with a good balance of 'craft' and 'slick'.
Biches Festival is a family-owned music festival located in the middle of Normandy, France. Small yet mighty, Biches lineup represents french new-scene bands right before they get too big.
